1. older anime ( like samurai x and yu yu hakksho) seem to have a longer run time than most current anime. Current anime are all about 24 25 episodes.
2. current anime always seem to differ from their manga counterpart by a lot. However, older anime follow more closely to their manga.
3. Well, the definitely the special effects, drawing and presentation style for current anime seem to be more attractive than older ones.
4. based on story plots, older ones win hands down. current anime are like copies of older anime. no creativity.
